Yes. While we are willing to work with an author who is agented, Artemesia Publishing exists to give authors with amazing stories who may not have gotten an agent an opportunity to publish your book. Please follow our submission guidelines to submit a manuscript to us for consideration.

We don't have any specific genres that we do or do not publish (except for erotica, which we do not publish). However, over the years the genres that we publish have solidified around the following:

- Historical Fiction

- Mystery

- Thriller/Adventure

- Fantasy

- Science Fiction

- Horror

- Magical Realism

- books about baseball

- books about dinosaurs

We will consider other genres of books but the above are our preferences. We encourage you to look at the titles we have previously published and to read our books to get an idea of the types of books we are interested in publishing.

We do not publish illustrated children's books. Kinkajou Press is focused on middle grade and YA fiction titles.

We've had so many great books come our way this year that we've had to take a pause. We are currently closed for submissions at the moment. We hope we can reopen for submissions in early 2025.
